Also, I went to Stone Mountain when I was a child and learning about the Civil War. I grew up Black in Massachusetts, ok? So seeing a 90-foot version of Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, and Jefferson Davis galloping toward me was a formative, jarring experience.
